Conference “Understanding the future vision of European integration” a success at Sichuan University

To celebrate the 50^th anniversary of China-Belgium diplomatic ties, Sichuan University organised a conference on “Understanding the Future Visions of European Integration” on 19 November 2021. The conference was held both online and offline in Chengdu, joined by BACES partners across China and Europe including Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, University of Ghent and Lancaster University.

More than 60 participants spoke and discussed on topics of the EU and possible changes in its actorness, EU institutional renewals and possible changes in its external relations and policies, the challenges the EU faces in the post-Brexit era, and the impacts of Covid-19 on the future of European integration.
